About the Awards
Since 2002, the Life Science Industry Awards have recognized the innovative manufacturers of the “tools of science” that help advance biological research and drug discovery. The awards are organized and hosted by BioInformatics, the premier research and advisory firm serving the life science industry. For 25 years, BioInformatics has leveraged our expert network of more than 50,000 life scientists, to support more than 500 companies and provided insights that lead to better business decisions. BioInformatics is now part of Science and Medicine Group.
Traditionally, the Life Science Industry Awards have been a biennial event where thousands of life scientists nominate and vote for the best performing supplier in 10 distinct customer support, service and communications categories. Awards for excellence in each category are presented at a gala event attended by up to 200 corporate executives. Read more about the history of the Life Science Industry Awards.
Beginning in 2019, the Life Science Industry Awards have expanded to include three new categories to recognize the most innovative new products released this year. The editors of Instrument Business Outlook and the scientists who comprise BioInformatics’ market insights team will select winners.
The winners of the traditional Life Science Industry Awards – Excellence were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The winners of the Life Science Industry Awards – Innovation will be announced via a webinar on December 8th, 2021.
